Rules and Regulations
Main information below– A full copy of the Rules and regulation of the school will be provided on registration of your child.
Please make sure you attach CERTIFIED COPIES of the following documents with the enrolment form before handing it in at the office. We are NOT ACCEPTING it without these documents( if submitted with application form—documents are not required again):
- Learners birth certificate
- Both parents I.D.’s
- Proof of residence
Arrival and departure
Children are personally received from 06h30. Please note that children may not be left at the gate but must be handed over to the person on duty. For safety reasons, the gate is kept locked. The daycare will closes at 17h00 Monday to Thursday, and 16h00 on a Friday. All children are to be fetched no later than 17h15 and 16h15 respectively, unless prior arrangements were made. A fine of R30 is payable if a child is fetched later than 17h30 (Monday– Thursday) and 16h30 (on a Friday) a fine of R60 if a parent comes later than 18h00 (Monday– Thursday) and 17h00 (on a Friday). Fines must be paid on the day of default. (if fine is not paid, the penalty will be added to your child’s school account) Late care is also available for parents who can only fetch their child by 18h00 for a fee of R100-00 per month.
Traffic requirements
We request that transport drivers* and parents comply with the following traffic rules to ensure not just the safety of our learners, but a free flow of traffic as required by the Traffic Department: 1)park on the correct side of the road; 2) drive slowly when passing each campus; 3) use the designated parking areas on the college’s premises to avoid road congestion.4) do not double park or park infront of our neighbours driveways. * ( please inform your child’s transport driver of our traffic requirements)
School fees
On request
Entrance fee: R50 for all new students must be paid as well as the school fees. Please note: Fees are payable monthly in advance and no later than the 5th of each month unless prior arrangements are made. Your child will not be allowed to attend the college until the school fees are paid in full. If the parent/s still fail to comply, legal action will be taken against them. If your child does not attend the college during school holidays you are still required to pay the full months school fees. No repayments or reduced fees will be made for absences.
One months notice is required if a child is taken out of the college. If a child is taken out of the college without parents notifying us in writing a month in advance, a months school fees is still payable or legal action will be taken.
* learners who are older than 16mth but still remain in the baby class will still be subject to the age group fee. Notice of absence and enquiries
Parents must please phone if a child will be absent. Children with contagious illnesses must be kept at home until the illness has cleared up.
If you would like to contact us by phone to enquire about your son/ daughter, you can call the landline –021 9342255 or between the following times: 08h00 -08h30, 12h30 -13h00 or 14h00-14h30. Alternatively you can whatsapp/ text the Principal-Zahida on 084 8802255 or the Admin assistant –Wadia on 073 2530828 between 06h 00-to 19h00. Parents should understand that classes can not be disrupted as a daily program is followed. If your child’s teacher is unavailable at the above mentioned times, please leave a message with the person who answers your call ( please ask for the persons name whom you speak to) or send a whatsapp/ text message.

Requirements: 6 – 16 months old
Parents are required to send the following items
o 2 face clothes with the child’s name written in permanent marker /embroidered on it ( 1 white (for face) / 1 color (for bum))
o 3 boxes of tissues
o Baby brush
o Baby wipes (as required)
o 6 Baby soaps
Daily requirements
o A dessert/ yoghurt everyday
o 2 Sterilized bottles or 1 feeding mug everyday
o Sufficient fresh milk or formula for your child to drink during the day
o 3 or 4 diapers each day
Requirements: 18mth- 2½yrs old
Requirements for 2016 will cost R400= this has been included in the monthly school fees
It includes wipes, file and message book, basic day to day toiletries for hygiene and basic stationery( paint, crayons, playdough, paper) needs.
It is compulsory for new and old learners.
Additional requirements
1 kiddie blanket, 1 x20 page plastic file, 1 wooden puzzle, 1x reem (500 sheets) paper and 1x age appropriate story book– label all items
18- 2½yrs old
Non-potty-trained learners must come with nappies / pull-ups and wipes everyday
Parents must arrange with the class teacher if you wish to start Potty training. It is a joint venture with parents and the school. Clear guidelines should be met and understood to ensure the success of the Potty training.
Potty training learners must come with at least 2 underpants/panties and extra clothing.
Requirements: 2½yrs – 6yrs old
Requirements for 2016 will cost R400= this has been included in the monthly school fees
It includes wipes, file and message book, basic day to day toiletries for hygiene and basic stationery ( paint, crayons, craft glue) needs.
It is compulsory for new and old learners.
Please note: No refunds nor items will be given
Additional class requirements

4-5yrs: 1 kiddie blanket, 1x reem (500 sheets) paper,1 soft cover book( no lines), 1 small roll of contact plastic, 1 small roll of kiddie wrapping paper, 1 x20 page plastic file, 1x 72 page colour in book, 1 wooden puzzle, 1x age appropriate story book and 1 pack of roll up crayons– label all items
Grade R-Junior & Grade R requirements fee and list will be provided on registration. (please request a list if you were not given one with your child’s forms)
